Dear Bruce and Timothy,
During ISO TC 171’s recent week of meetings, TC 171 SC2 requested me as the secretariat to invite JTC1 SC32 to participate in a joint working group to develop a work item in our program of work, ISO/WD 11864, Document management – Guidelines for the creation of a metadata crosswalk systems. We have a working draft available that we would like the members of your subcommittee to review and provide comments and assistance in the continuing development of the standard. We value the insight that your experts have and want to include that knowledge in this standard.
Please let me know if your SC would be willing to form this joint working group. To form the joint working group, please send me a copy of the resolution approved by your SC to participate and enter the experts in the ISO Global Directory for TC 171 SC2 WG6.
