PURPOSE: The purpose of the WG 2 Open Forum on Metadata
Registries (17 to 21 January) is to provide a forum for information exchange
and to encourage standardization and collaboration among persons implementing,
intending to implement, or otherwise interested in Metadata Registries. The
purpose of the remainder of the WG 2 Meetings (25 to 27 January) is to progress WG 2 projects.
